Physical activity benefits

Cancer Risk Prevention

Engaging in physical activity can significantly lower the risk of developing cancer by improving body composition.

Improved Respiratory Capacity

A person suffering from cancer generally loses 30% of their cardiorespiratory capacity. Initiated at the beginning, during or after remission, moderate physical activity helps to maintain this capacity.

Reduced Fatigue

Physical activity is the only treatment validated for reducing fatigue during treatment. By maintaining the patient’s muscular capacity and endurance, the level of fatigue is reduced by 30 to 40%.

Decreased Risk of Cancer Recurrence

Regular moderate physical activity significantly reduces the risk of cancer recurrence.
